Nephrology

The Department of Nephrology, Monilek Hospital, serves as a tertiary-care referral centre in Jaipur. It provides services covering the gamut of clinical Nephrology including treating OPD patients, Inpatients, critical care Nephrology, acute kidney injury, kidney transplantation and performs all nephrology procedures such as kidney biopsies, central venous catheterization both temporary and tunneled, Hemodialysis, continuous therapies, peritoneal dialysis both acute and CAPD. It is a recognised teaching centre for Nephrology and supports research related to Nephrology.

The department of Nephrology is one of the oldest departments in this region with experienced faculty available for consultation full time. The department is part of Monilek Hospital which is renowned for imparting medical education for many years. The emphasis on bedside teaching, imparting practical skills and an excellent library, both physical and digital. The department itself practices all aspects of clinical nephrology and students have access to vast and varied amounts clinical material through the attached multi-bed Monilek Hospital, Jaipur. As such the learning process is facilitated and mentored by a dedicated faculty and support staff.
